Winner of Best Private Sector Project of the Year DocuWare picks up prize at DM awards
London, October 29, 2009 – DocuWare is winner of Best Private Sector Project of the Year.
Document manager magazine, the leading publication on ECM in the UK, organized the annual DM awards on October 22, 2009, recognizing the industry leaders in document management in the UK. The award “Best Private Sector Project of the Year” represents the best software project chosen for the most notable technology to improve document management and workflow, increase time savings and lower costs in a privately held company.
DocuWare was selected by a panel of judges consisting of four industry experts in the UK
(Rory Staunton at Strategy Partners, Dave Tyler of dm magazine, Martin Woldron of In-Form Consult, Tony Heldon at Cimtech) for its ease of use, low cost, speed and browser capabilities that allow for a rather unique document workflow process at Serviceline, starting with a digital pen and pad (by Destiny Plc.) and ending up in DocuWare on a job manager’s pc via the Internet and later accessible by anyone.
Stefan Schindler, Director at DocuWare Ltd., remarks: "This integration project proved to have many advantages, one of which is that due to DocuWare’s Web Client, engineers on the field are able to access the status of the job from any location, which saves enormous amounts of resources due to time savings, and as soon as a job is checked off as done, using the Destiny digital pen, an invoice can be created and sent out; this truly increases cashfllow.”
