DocuWorld 2010 in Bavaria
International Partner Conference a Big Success

Germering, June 22, 2010 – Under the motto “Building a Sustainable Solution Business“, German DMS provider DocuWare had its annual international conference on May 26-28, 2010 in Fuerstenfeldbruck, near Munich, Germany. Over 100 Authorised DocuWare Partners from all over Europe, the Middle East and Africa attended.

DocuWare hosts a series of conferences every year to update sales Partners from around the world about the latest developments and gear up for a successful future together. The first for 2010 was at the beginning of February in Mallorca, where approximately 130 DocuWare Partners from German-speaking countries met for DocuWorld D.A.CH. This was followed by DocuWorld Americas, which took place in Miami, Florida at the end of March. Around 180 registered participants came together from North, Central and South America for the largest DocuWare Partner conference.

Secure Future for Partners and Customers
“Always successful with DocuWare“ – that was the charge led by Thomas Schneck, DocuWare Co-President responsible for Sales & Marketing, who kicked off the conference. Using the positive results of the previous year and the excellent start into 2010, Schneck made the case that the market potential remains exponential. Since DocuWare is used by companies to strengthen their competitiveness, DocuWare’s own success is an important component that helps both Partners and customers alike to succeed in the future.

Schneck highlighted the international success of the past few years: in 2009, the DocuWare Group generated a fourth of its revenue in EMEA; one third of its 950 new installations were sold to this region. In the past year, the company founded a Spanish subsidiary and its French and UK subsidiaries also witnessed strong growth. He also presented DocuWare’s enhanced communication strategy. It shows prospects how to achieve efficiencies through integrated document management solutions as well as existing customers how to benefit by expanding their system into other departments.

Juergen Biffar, DocuWare Co-President responsible for Products & Finance, showed a product roadmap for 2010 which includes investments that will be made in Cloud Computing. He made clear that the company will continue to actively support its Partners as they move in this direction.

Both Co-Presidents felt the conference in Germany was a big success: “This was the largest group to attend this event. It’s a clear sign that our Partners have great confidence in us and that they are continuing with us because they see a successful future.”

Bavarian Traditions
This year’s EMEA meeting took place in former monastery in Fuerstenfeldbruck, a suburb of Munich. One of the unique, regional highlights of the entertainment program was a Bavarian-style curling contest. The evening program was ideal for networking and the experiences between participants were quite memorable.
